1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Between Shutter Island and Inception, DiCaprio had an excellent year. In his latest role he portrays J. Edgar Hoover, a film about the famous FBI director. Clint Eastwood directs which means the film is already getting Oscar buzz.

 

 

DiCaprio has been seen dating new girlfriend, Romanian-born model Madalina Ghenea – who has been snapped with the actor while he was in Sydney shooting Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby. Madelina has been spotted around Sydney’s Bondi beach with DiCaprio’s entourage while the actor gets over his split from Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

 

 

Being the only single man on this list, I guess that Leo gets up to a lot more dating than the other guys, but as to how much dating we can only speculate.

 

2. Johnny Depp

$50 million

Depp puts his own spin on every role and whether he’s voicing a chameleon or lurching around as Captain Jack Sparrow, his movies bring in the big bucks. In his latest movie, The Rum Diary, he plays the role of an American journalist Paul Kemp who takes on a freelance job in Puerto Rico for a local newspaper during the 1950s and struggles to find a balance between island culture and the expatriates who live there.

Up next for Depp is a film version of the cult television show Dark Shadows. A gothic-horror tale based on the life of vampire Barnabas Collins and his run-ins with various monsters, witches, werewolves and ghosts, directed by Tim Burton.

His long-time girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, is a popular singer-songwriter in her native France, as well as an aspiring actress.

Johnny and Vanessa have two children Lily (1999) and Jack (2002).

 

 

How much dating that Johnny and Vanessa manage would be pure conjecture. However, what we can say with some certainty is that living in France means they would not be hassled by the public when they are out dating.

 

3. Adam Sandler

$40 million

Sandler is one of the surest things in Hollywood. His films might not get a lot of love from critics but the ticket-buying public love him. His film, Just Go With It gets an 18 on Rotten Tomatoes but earned $214 million at the global box office.

His current outing, Jack and Jill, about family guy Jack Sadelstein who prepares for the annual event he dreads: the Thanksgiving visit of his twin sister, the needy and passive-aggressive Jill, who then refuses to leave. The film has only achieved a rating of 2.9 on imdb.com – now that’s bad, really bad.

Adam is currently married to Jackie Sandler, 22 June 2003 – present, and they have 2 children.

 

 

As Jackie and Adam have been together for nearly 10 years, we can only speculate that they still are able to find the time to go dating, helping keep their relationship on the right track!

 

4. Will Smith

Lately, Smith has put his own career on the back burner in order to focus on his budding star children. He produced The Karate Kid which starred Jaden and is developing a remake of Annie for his daughter Willow. Smith will next star in Men in Black III slated for a May 2012 release.

Will was married to Sheree Smith from 9 May 1992 – 10 December 1995, they are now divorced and have one child. His current spouse is Jada Pinkett Smith, they were married on 31st December 1997 and have two children.

 

 

Will is the man, you just know that he takes the Mrs out for a date whenever he gets the chance. He and Sheree just love dating.

 

5. Tom Hanks

$35 million

Hanks’ latest film, Larry Crowne, after losing his job, a middle-aged man reinvents himself by going back to college… was a bona-fide flop earning less that $100 million. But the actor still pulls in plenty of money from voicing Woody in Toy Story. The third film was the highest-grossing animated movie of all time.

Hanks was married to Samantha Lewes on 24th January 1978, and divorced on 19th March 1987, they have two children Colin and Elizabeth. Sadly, Samantha died from cancer in 2002.

Tom remarried Rita Wilson on 30th April 1988 and they have two children, Chet Hanks (b. 4th August 1990) and Truman Theodore (b. 26th December 1995).

 

 

I like to think of Tom as being the perfect old school gentleman, and that he organises date nights for Rita that most of us can only dream off!
